Course Description:
This 6-week Agricultural Science course provides a comprehensive introduction to the science, systems, and sustainable practices that underpin modern agriculture. Students will explore how crops and animals are produced, managed, and marketed within Nigeria and the global context.
The course begins with the scope and importance of agriculture, then examines farming systems, soil management, crop and animal production, and concludes with forestry, sustainability, and modern technologies such as smart farming and agribusiness innovation.
